- Descripción: Our client is an American multinational organization specialized in award winning human resources services is looking for Technical Documentation Specialist (English). You would be reporting to the manager of Training & Support team.
- Funciones: a. Designs and develops new (or revise existing) instructional documentation and modules that ensure mastery of learning objectives. Critical outputs include: user manuals, job aids, exercises, workbooks, worksheets, scripts, story-boards (video, film, audio, and computer based training), tests and evaluation forms, written case studies, etc.
b. Keeps up-to-date on new products, statutory and technological change within the company and advises management and less senior staff of necessary training responses. Must be able to adapt multiple technological platforms. As new ADP products are developed, the learning curve must be high in order to design training material for the new product. Keeps up-to-date on training technology and researches for compatibility with ADP product training.
c. Works besides the T&S Manager in projects that will improve the delivery methods, systems and tools used for client and partner trainings.
d. Works closely with the Project managers of the different projects and their project teams in order to understand the documentation needs and functionality that will be offered with the new service offerings being deployed in short-term.
e. Delivers compelling presentations and programs to enhance the skills of new and current clients and/or ADP Streamline¿s associates
f. Among the different responsibilities of the role are:
I. Explain functional concepts and technical ideas in simple language. Ensure technical verbiage is easy to understand by the layperson.
II. Review, edit and proofread materials written by others as applicable.
III. Review and revise existing documentation to assure it remains current. Provide updates and different editions as necessary.
IV. Study drawings, specifications, mockups, and product samples. Prepare charts, graphs, or forms to go along with rough drafts.
V. Write clear and concise policies and procedures.
VI. Adjust copy as necessary and proofread for grammar and spelling.
VII. Follow a life cycle called document development life cycle. - Estudios: Grado.
- Requisitos mínimos: experiencia mínima de 2 años. 2 ó 3 years experience as a Technical writer (in English) or similar and experience within the client service industry with resultant knowledge of organization behavior. 2 year of experience in training departments targeted to end customers or to end users in large companies. Ability to use computers and documentation management related software packages necessary. Excellent written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to gather information and insights from individuals and groups through the use of interviews. The ability to work under the pressure of time constraints necessary. International exposure. Project management experience is highly expected.
